3 Must-Have Gadgets for Business Travel
Travel Money
NEW YORK (TheStreet) — Having spent far too much time overloading my lumbar lugging this or that bit of electronics around the globe, I’ve learned that tools that do double duty are the key to saving time and money as you travel. Think of it as an electronic riff on the belt that’s brown on one side and black on the other. Gymwear that doubles as a swimsuit. You get the idea. But it is not like …

How can I convince my mom and dad to give me $ 500 for some travel money?
I am going to Europe and I am wanting my mom and dad to give me $ 500 to travel with, only thing is is that I don’t want to let him know I’m going to Europe. So can anyone think of an idea that I can get the money. I’m going to call from there and surprise them that I am able to do what I can do. I do have other money saved.

first off bad idea,,,cuz they could call the cops on u and track u down,,,trust me and my friend did that once,,,we went to texas all the way from canada ,,,and my parents got hold of the authorites there and we were escorted backk,,,but it was fun,,,so this is what u do if u need money,,,,borrow there credit card ,,,,tell em ur gonna buy something like car stickers or decals for there car or ur car as a gift,,,and give em like 10$ and say that the stickers only cost 10$ so ur covered and u’ll get there credit card ,,,now transfer the money to ur debit account through paypal and go to the bank and get the money out of ur account ,,,,,,,,,if non of this works ,,,,,tell ur parents ur trying to invest money in government bonds for a little project etc. or make up a story ,,,or get a friend dressed in a cop costume arrest u and fine ur parents 500$ cash for littering of something stupid good luck

Survived Costa Rica in the rainy season, September 2, 2007

I used this money belt when I went to Costa Rica for a week in May. It rained everyday, but my money, passport, and other papers stayed dry and secure in the plastic pocket. I was afraid it might be uncomfortable or sweaty with the heat, but I wore it under my waist band on my lower back and it dried out very quickly each night. It held everything I needed and was so light and comfortable I had to often check to make sure it was there! The only (small) problem I had was that the elastic for the adjustable waistband was far too long for me. I cut off a length and used a safety pin to keep the loose end up so it wouldn’t end up hanging down my leg.

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

This review is from: Rick Steves Silk Money Belt (Apparel)

I bought this a few months ago, and since then, I’ve used it on two vacations. It is very comfortable, and I really couldn’t tell I had it on. On a few occasions, I patted my tummy to make sure it was still there. I especially like that it has two separate zipper pockets. I looked at several different brands on these before I bought, and Amazon definitely had the best price for the silk belt. Most places wanted just as much, or more, for a polyester best…can you say sweaty? Ick. For those who might be wondering, this has a really long belt. Great for plus size people. But for those skinny folks out there, just grab a pair of scissors and trim it off, since the elastic belt isn’t hemmed anyway.
